Nextiva S5503 IP Cameras Feature Set

The Nextiva® S5503 IP PTZ camera series incorporates advanced Verint H.264 encoding technology with a high-performance PTZ platform. The results are ultra-efficient cameras with superior imagery, lower network bandwidth utilization, and full integration with the Nextiva video management portfolio.

Excellent Video Quality, More Effective Video Surveillance

The feature-rich S5503 series includes 18x, 28x and 36x optical zoom lens models for a variety of applications, as well as superior low light, day/night performance, and excellent dynamic range for challenging lighting conditions. Verint encoding technology delivers H.264 or MJPEG compression at up to 4CIF resolution at 30 fps. The S5503 IP PTZ camera series also features full simultaneous analog video out and control, for live recording and seamless operation in a variety of environments. This allows security personnel to operate the camera with zero control lag on-site, or to remotely control the PTZ with Nextiva Video Management Software or the Nextiva EdgeVR® network video recorder.

The S5503 IP PTZ camera series features programmable tilting, auto pan and alarm inputs. The cameras offer 360° continuous pan and can burst pan at 430°/sec for programmable stops. With an impressive 184° tilt range for viewing areas above their horizon and up to 24 programmable privacy masks, the S5503 cameras combine high-performance with the recognition that not all footage should be seen by the operator – making the S5503 IP PTZ camera series the perfect urban or city-center devices.

From the in-ceiling 18x model, to the pendant-mount 28x, and 36x weatherized model, the S5503 IP PTZ cameras come in a wide selection of types, housings, and mounting options to meet an array of installation and operational requirements. Nextiva S5503 cameras snap into the housing, for easy installation. When removed, the housing retains all programmed functions in its on-board memory.

Fully Integrated with Nextiva and EdgeVR

The Nextiva S5503 camera series is fully integrated with Nextiva Video Management software — centralized device management, automated health monitoring, remote video viewing, and more — and with other Nextiva solutions, including the Nextiva EdgeVR IP-based network video recorder. Nextiva continuously monitors the performance of the S5503 IP Cameras, with automated diagnostics and problem correction for greater uptime and lower service costs.
