The Nextiva® RP 406K is a high-resolution, mini-dome camera designed for superior performance in the demanding mobile environment, with the ability to capture clear, crisp images in virtually any light.

Superior Performance in the On-Board Environment

Built for use on board buses, trains, and other moving vehicles, the RP 406K features vibration-resistant WAGO power connectors.
These connectors use spring pressure (rather than screws) to connect electrical conductors, for fewer power problems and more reliable performance. Sturdy construction, high-quality design, and optional extended temperature support help the RP 406K withstand the shock, vibration, and fuctuating temperatures characteristic of mobile environments. A pinhole housing protects the camera against vandalism and theft.

High Quality Images in Almost Any Light

The Nextiva RP 406K is designed to provide clear, crisp images in virtually any lighting conditions, switching from colour video (470 TVL) to black-and-white when lighting becomes low. CCD chip technology and low lux sensitivity — 0.015 lux at the sensor — render clear, crisp images in even very bright or very low light.

Easy to Install

The Nextiva RP 406K is designed for easy installation. Cameras can be mounted on ceilings or walls, depending on the design and layout of the vehicle. An installation kit comes standard with the RP 406K
and includes connection cable, 75-ohm video cable, BNC female connector, mounting materials, and instructions.
